-In the first round of design, we tried to design an APP of food therapy. We hope to promote food therapy culture through this software. In this software, we designed some different functions from the software of common recipe. For example, users can evaluate their health, scan food and read e-books on food therapy in this software. With respect to the style design, we designed the software into Chinese style, using some Chinese elements, such as scrolls and ink elements. In terms of the main color, we chose red, which represents China. In order to improve the design of the software, we also designed a logo. This logo is a good combination of the Chinese characters of "Food and "Therapy". Of course, this does not mean that our software does not have defects. According to the user test we conducted, the elderly users felt the function was slightly complicated, and the font was a little small and could not be adjusted, which demonstrated that we didn't consider everything in our design. Maybe we can consider designing different font sizes and software styles for different user groups in the future. In the meantime, we think that the software can also be designed into English version in order to make the food therapy culture better spread overseas.
-In the second round of design, we finally decided to design a "Panda Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine" to manifest our Chinese traditional medicine culture. We combined traditional Chinese medicine elements with the panda, and designed a cute cartoon image of panda doctor. Combined with food therapy culture, we designed four posters of Cold, Hot, Warm and Cool. Moreover, we also made some interesting peripheral products, such as brooch, notebook and tape. These designs can attract the attention of young people and children. We hope that they can learn more about food therapy culture through this way, so as to better disseminate food therapy culture. Through the user test, we discovered that this design was welcomed by many people. For users, our design is easy to understand. Even so, we still have something to improve. For instance, we can try to create more derivative products based on the concept of yin and yang or five elements in food therapy.
