In the second round of design, we finally decided to design a suitable mascot and some items for the World Traditional Chinese Medicine Festival, which can better draw young people's attention, and thus better publicize Chinese medicine culture and food therapy culture. As far as I am concerned, food therapy is a part of Chinese medicine. If we give more attention to Chinese medicine culture, more people will be aware of the food therapy culture. Another reason why I designed the mascot is that I found that a good mascot can make a place or a project more popular. Kumamon in Kumamoto Prefecture is a very successful example.

We chose China's national treasure panda as the mascot and designed a lovely panda doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, symbolizing that Chinese medicine culture is also the national treasure of our country. Furthermore, I designed four posters by combining mascots with four definitions (cold, hot, warm, cool)of food properties in food therapy. I also designed badges, notebooks, tapes, seals and so on. I think all these things can well publicize the Chinese Medicine Festival. Perhaps this mascot can also be added to the food therapy software designed in the first round, which makes the software of food therapy more interesting.
